Current Phase of Construction: Interior Construction
What is Happening During the Next Two Weeks:
- Interior work continues, which includes material deliveries; interior finishes; floor polishing, electrical and security wiring; theatrical and MEP systems commissioning work.
- Exterior work on the roof is complete. Exterior blade signage on 125th Street is complete. Waterproofing and painting on remaining areas of the east and west facade will continue as weather allows.
- The 125th Street shed has been removed. The pedestrian walkway will move into the bus lane, with protection, when the final sidewalk curb work and exterior stair installation is complete. We anticipate this work to begin the last week of December.
- After completion of the exterior facade work, the sidewalk shed on 124th Street will be removed and pedestrian access will be restored to the sidewalk. The NYC Department of Buildings has determined that it is safe to remove the sidewalk shed. This work will be scheduled as soon as possible, given the holiday season.
- Regular work hours 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- After hours work, all interior, is scheduled on Saturday, December 21. It will be limited to interior painting work.

Installation of railings will begin on the roof terrace, 5th floor balcony and art niches on both the north and south facades. This work will continue for approximately 3-4 weeks. Until this work is completed, the sidewalk sheds on both 124th and 125th Street are required to be in place.

- After hours work is scheduled for Saturday, June 1 and 8. The work will include interior work, and exterior railing work, weather permitting.
