Apply to Expanding the Walls

Expanding the Walls: Making Connections Between Photography, History, and Community is a free eight-month photography-based program for a select group of students enrolled in a high school or GED program. For this 2021 ETW cycle, we are accepting applications from teens who live or attend high schools or equivalency programs in Harlem and upper Manhattan neighborhoods, as well as the South Bronx. Meetings will take place online!

Applications are now open for the next cycle of Expanding the Walls
Program dates: Every Tuesday from January 5—August 3rd, 2021. 

Application deadline: Friday, November 13th, 2020 by 11:59 pm.

ETW meets on Tuesday 4-6:30pm
ETW is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents and individuals eligible to work in the United States without a VISA sponsorship. This means you are able to provide working papers to The Studio Museum in Harlem, which includes your social security number. Currently the Museum does not provide VISA sponsorship.
