Join us for the launch of our inaugural TEEN TALKS program on IGTV with Expanding the Walls 2020 participants Kaelynn Fonken and Janaivi Sosa. Watch the conversation at the @studiomuseumteens account to hear the teens discuss their artwork in the online exhibition Hearts in Isolation (2020) as well as share how Expanding the Walls provided a safe space for them to explore, learn technical photography skills, and deepen their emerging art practices. 

Ginny Huo, Senior Coordinator, Teen Programs, moderates the conversation and sits in community with the teens as they reflect on their time as participants, share programmatic highlights, and recount moments of personal growth.

TEEN TALKS

At The Studio Museum in Harlem we believe in creating and nurturing teen-centered spaces where young creatives can come together to collaborate and learn about art-making, art history, and professional development. TEEN TALKS invites individuals from the Museum’s teen programs to meet and reflect on ideas and concepts that they have learned while under the leadership of museum professionals. In a conversation moderated by Ginny Huo, Senior Coordinator, Teen Programs, program participants will engage in critical thought and live conversation about their art practice in a public forum.
