On Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 3:00 pm EDT, join us for our next Studio LIVE program featuring Péjú Oshin. Oshin is a British-Nigerian curator, writer, and educator based in London. Her work explores liminality in culture, identity, and the built environment through working with artists, archives, and cultural artefacts to create and further explore shared experiences across a global African diaspora. In March 2021, Oshin published Between Words & Space, a collection of poetry that explores love, loss, growth, and freedom.

As a throughline across her ongoing work, Oshin is dedicated to articulating and exploring the shared experiences of a global African diaspora. During this program, Oshin and Legacy Russell, Associate Curator, Exhibitions, will discuss Oshin’s writing and curatorial work as a diasporic site of expression and imagination. Oshin will also read from Between Words & Space (2021).

To watch the talk, visit the Studio Museum’s Instagram at 3:00 pm EDT.
