inHarlem, Kids and Family Programs, Lil' Studio

Lil' Studio is part of inHarlem, The Studio Museum in Harlem's initiative designed to explore innovative ways to work in the community while taking the Museum beyond its own walls.

Parents, caregivers, and organizations servicing little ones ages 2.5 to 4 are invited to the New York Public Library Harlem Branch to enjoy art-making and other activities that encourage creative time and bonding. 
 
Session A is designed for organizations and agencies providing care for pre-school aged children. Session B welcomes parents and caregivers. 
 
Explore the artwork of artist Derrick Adams as you and your little one identify shapes together! Discover how shapes can be used to create pictures of people and use a variety of textures and colors to create a special portrait! 
 
Lil' Studio is free, refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
