Dear Studio Museum Community,
The Studio Museum in Harlem’s top priority is guaranteeing the safety of each member of our community, our audiences, our committed team and their families. As a proud citizen of Harlem and a public institution, we also are mindful of our responsibilities as a leader in the promotion of best public health practices.
For these reasons, as we continue to monitor the challenges posed by the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are closing our programming space, Studio Museum 127 effective as of Friday, March 13 at 5pm. We do so out of an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our staff and our community.
Additionally, we are postponing public programs.
We will be reviewing options on when it will be safe to re-open. In the interim, we want you to know how much we appreciate your understanding, and we thank you for being a part of our wonderful community.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our Museum soon. Please continue to stay connected through our website and social media (@studiomuseum).
We will be sharing updates throughout this period.
We will continue to do everything we can to help keep our community safe and healthy. We thank you for your understanding.
