Access Programs

Tours

Verbal description tours are monthly Museum educator–led tours that explore works of art in the Studio Museum’s exhibitions through detailed verbal descriptions conveying the visual aspects of artworks on view. This tour is designed for blind and low-vision visitors. Tactile elements and assisted-listening devices will be provided.

Studio Signs is a monthly gallery tour held in American Sign Language (ASL), led by a Deaf museum educator, that engages participants in conversation about art on view in the Studio Museum’s exhibitions. These monthly tours incorporate tactile elements, and assisted-listening devices will be provided.

Arts & Minds

Arts & Minds brings adults with memory disorders and their caregivers together for new experiences with art. Programs include lively discussions of the current exhibitions during a guided tour, followed by an art-making workshop.
