Flashing Refractions

November 2, 2024, 11:00–12:00 pm

9 West 124th Street New York, NY 10027

How can you use reflected light when making art?

Inspired by artist Tom Lloyd, we will create light collages using colorful cellophane. Get ready to cut, layer and glue geometric shapes. When we finish, we’ll have fun as we watch the light dance on our artwork!

Parents, caregivers, and organizations servicing little ones under five years old are invited to the NYPL Harlem Library to enjoy art making and other activities that encourage creative time and bonding.

Lil' Studio is designed to explore innovative ways to work in the community while taking the Museum beyond its own walls. Lil' Studio is free. Click here for accessibility information at NYPL Harlem Library. For more information, or for accommodation, email [email protected].
