In this painting workshop, use the gesture of repitition to explore compositional movement! Drawing inspiration from the work of McArthur Binion, play with movement, paint and texture to create a work of your own.
Parents, caregivers, and organizations servicing little ones under 5 years old are invited to the NYPL Harlem Library to enjoy art-making and other activities that encourage creative time and bonding. Session A is designed for organizations and agencies providing care for pre-school aged children.
Lil' Studio is part of The Studio Museum's inHarlem initiative, designed to explore innovative ways to work in the community while taking the Museum beyond its own walls.
Lil' Studio is free, refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
