The Studio Museum in Harlem
Bring your family and friends, and start the summer with The Studio Museum in Harlem as we celebrate our Eleventh Annual Juneteenth Celebration! Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, honors African-American heritage by commemorating the announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas in 1865.
In celebration of freedom and Black culture, the Studio Museum will offer a tour of our new exhibition, Caribbean: Crossroads of the World, face painting, art workshops, free giveaways and a musical journey with Heritage OP.
