Maysles Documentary Center, 343 Malcolm X Blvd, New York, NY 10027
The Studio Museum's Teen Leadership Council presents Call to Action, a film screening with works made by young artists and filmmakers.
For Call to Action, the Teen Leadership Council invites young adults to assume a form of social responsibility in their communities through the creation of a short film. Students will be able to voice their concerns and their vulnerabilities about the future in a safe space through this film screening.
Maysles Documentary Center has a storefront entrance, with no stairs required to enter the building. The ground floor consists of a wheelchair accessible lobby, cinema, and bathroom.
Youth Programs are funded in part thanks to Hearst Endowment Fund; Joseph and Joan Cullman Foundation for the Arts; and Con Edison. Additional support is generously provided by The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and the New York City Council.
